Well I just bought this body and have a bit of rust to attend to but overall the body and paintwork is above average. The colour is Savannah Beige, garden variety, I am wondering whether the number on the sticker is relevant to getting some paint matched for touch ups or whether I need a more modern code to get some mixed? I don't expect a perfect match
Take your fuel filler door off and take that to them, they will colour match of it.
Thanks, that sounds the go
What do u need to know
Just wondering if "CLR 804" can be used to mix the colour with modern paint but as Pumba said I have the fuel cap cover as a back-up. I was thinking mixing to a code is a bit more accurate than eyesight, well mine at least! savannah beige been arouind a while on different model dubs too
not sure about that number
My paint chip code book by Dulux list it as 1749 1967 to 1969
That number could be good, thank you, the body is a '69 which is the right time frame, so I will take it to my local paint shop.
