OOOOOOHHHH!!! That's tricky!

Someone else might know of a 6V dedicated ignition, but I don't. However, I do know about the 6V-12V upconverter that will happily drive a 12V electronic ignition (like Pertronix, etc).
Have a peek thru Jaycar etc cattledogs, the converter will probably draw 2A or so, so you will need a 300W version. 6V input, 12V output to your ignition, sweet. Hide it behind the firewall, sweeter.

Just in case you can't get a dedicated 6V unit.

also be beware that if You hook up a pertronix or similar unit and the converter or resistor etc puts out too much voltage the pertronix etc will blow instantly...

I am sure that You can buy pertronix or similar in 6 volt versions
over seas... marked for 6 volts..??

anyone know if a 12 volt pertronix unit will work on 6 volts???

a bit pricey to experiment with... lol
