is it worth doing an ej20 nonturbo

Hey guys my brother has come across a 2004 impreza that someone is sending to the wreckers. And said that I can take it for the same price as what the wreckers would give him,

Its non turbo, 5 speed, should I do it or wait save more monies and get the turbo?

Any advice, tips or in put would be great!

Get it, you don't need the turbo, you can always make changes later if its not enough for you.

If its a quad cam motor its almost as hard as fitting turbo motor.

AUDM spec 2L imprezas around that time just ran the SOHC EJ202

you gotta make sure its pre CAN-BUS and cable throttle not fly by wire and you're sweet but the 2L were the pov spec, its mainly 2.5 imprezas that have it.
