Hey gurus....
I have a T34 Ghia that is about to get my old mildly modified 1776 fitted.... I have rebuilt the original trans in prep for this upgrade, and I'm
going to fit a slightly HD clutch to cope with estimated 120hp the engine produces.... A KEP Stage 1 PP and KEP Gold disc to be exact.
So the questions are these...
Is there a longer clutch release arm (for a light pedal) available for the early transaxle, and a HD cross shaft too?
Or....
If not, can a later cross shaft be fitted into the early transaxle?
Stock 200mm sachs discis all i have in my car humpty.
You can fit the later shaft, DB has a how-to somewhere. Entails making an adapter bush (large shaft and small hole in case) and notching the shaft so that you can fit it into the trans. There's a pic of it finished in Bluey's build thread.

I just tig-welded the cross shaft arms, and extended the outer arm by cutting near the cable 'loop', and welding on a section of another arm. From memory it was about 20mm longer.
weld another arm beside the origional about 20mm higher works well and easiest to do
Good tips there guys.... Thanks for input.
