Hi guys was there ever a 180mm 130tooth flywheel made that could go into a '63 ish 1200 to make it 12v?If so has anyone got one laying around spare?
Sorry about that, got the wrong forum.Thinking about one thing, looking at another,I'm sure we've all done that before.
Sorted
Guys, anyone able to help here?Cheers
I've never counted the teeth of a flywheel, but you can get 180mm (clutch) in 6 and 12 volt. Then there are two types of crankshafts.
One has a gasket (generally 6 volt) where the flywheel and crankshaft join and the other (generally 12 volt) has an 'o' ring.
The 12 volt flywheel is slightly larger than the 6 volt, so a 6 volt bell housing will require clearancing if installing a 12 volt flywheel.
Not sure if this answers your question? Dave
