G'day, all.
I see there've been some threads about the 1960 "50/50" rear lamps before, but I'm not finding the info I need: Exactly what type and wattage
globes were originally specified for the upper (amber) and lower (red) sections of the 50/50 lamp, please? Thanks.
I'm referring to these (this is Kev's pic of his collection):
I think they were 6v 18w for the top [flasher], and 6v 18w/6w for the stop/tail.
Thanks, HappyDaze. That seems reasonable, but it's really important that I find out for absolute certain what the factory spec was; how certain are you of your recollection? I hate to be a pest, but anyone got a printed (i.e., factory) ref?
I have a 61 owners manual at home, not sure if it will say the wattage though. Will look tonight when home and let you know.
Kev
Use the SAME as stock globes
Pulled out my 1961 Owners Instruction Manual, but the picture of the tail light assembly looks the same as the picture of the the tail light from the
years before.
Anyway, here is a photo of the the 'Bulb Chart' section out of the Technical Date section.
Hope it helps a little, Kev
Cheers -- perfect!
