Is it possible to fit beetle seats into a 65 Notch. The runners are not as wide as the Notches so can you weld the runners from a bug into the notch. If so where do i buy the runners to weld in???

I was tooling round with my 68 square back , which needed new seat /springs base and found that a vn seat base fits straight in the type 3 frame only needing slight hammer adjusting and 4 holes drilled , and backrest can still fold down for rear passengers. just a thought.
