I've seen an LBug, I think a '75, that had a brake booster, apparently a factory option? Was this actually an option, and does anyone know where I
could score one?
I assume it would fit a 73L as the only difference really was the r&p steering. I kind of want a bit extra stopping power as I'm preparing for a
future engine upgrade.
ive got an aftermarket one on my 72 and its a vh44 or vx44 it works well. heres a pic its on the left side you can just see it thru the gap between
the body and pan
or a VH40 would be fine
Thanks for the responses. I plan on putting it in when I put rear disks on.
Hi
Ran 4 spots all round with no booster, a booster is not needed unless you get your brake selection horribly wrong or your a big girls blouse, they
wont fix bad brakes.
Steve
all a boster really does is lessen the travel on the brake pedal, fels safer though.
Thanks for the further info! I guess I'll do the rear disk conversion then work from there.

Hi
So you only have 1 booster, do you only boost 1 curcuit or do you put the 2 curciuts back into 1?
Steve
you run front and rear, most vh44 smaller one run all 4 on one line other was the bleeder.but get a adapter that fits in the bleeder outlet ,then you
can run this on a 1500 or later twin master, there is still a bleeder just on top of the second out line,im running a remote vh44 on my cluch in my
torana...
i think one of these in a bug would be a good thing, better foot control ,and for the ladies less pushing on the pedal...
i think the vh40 would be to big,you would just touch the pedal and almost through the screen...until you got use to it...
