New EA Rear Calipers. Where From?
MikeM - May 13th, 2005 at 09:26 AM

It would seem that the beetle rear disc brake conversion of choice at the moment is EA Falcon Rear Brakes.

I've bought a few sets from a wrecker and they are stuffed. I'm sick of paying money for parts I can't use. So...

Is there anywhere I can buy new PBR EA Falcon rear calipers from? And where do I get the best price.

Thanks

Got mine from Autopro-$138 each. The Brake place here wanted $185 each.Part No.for the R.H one is DB1508-have thrown out the box for the LH one.

Thanks for that. Based on that part no alone I did some searching and came up with this.

FORD FALCON EA - ED 03/1988 - 07/1994 REAR Right Hand DB1508
FORD FALCON EA - ED 03/1988 - 07/1994 REAR Left Hand DB1509

Bought new original hoses as well-these were a bit over $30 each. Cut the original brackets for the hoses off the Ford dust shield and welded to the VW trailing arm- can use the Ford retaining clips.
