Hi All,
I have a newly aquired set of country buggy spindles sitting on my work bench. They have no drums or even bearings and I need to figure out what
bearings they use from the factory.
I've run the verniers over the spindles and it appears that the wheel bearings are imperial sizing not metric.
So does anyone have bearing numbers or sizes for the Country Buggy?
Thanks.
Link Beetle beetles have metric bearings and Ball Joint beetles have imperial bearings. I've included them below for reference.
Link Pin Beetle bearings are metric.
Inner 30205 - 25mm/52mm
Outer 32005 - 20mm/42mm
Ball Joint Beete bearings are imperial
Inner L45449/10 - 1.1417"/1.98" (28.999mm/50.292mm)
Outer LM11749/10 - 0.6875"/1.57" (17.462mm/ 39.878mm)
CB front stubs run the same wheel bearings as a kombi 64 on as are the drums wheel cyl backing plates etc hope this helps cheers dsk steve
Thanks Steve
I have since found the bearing numbers for a Bay window discs and the inner diameters appear to be the same as the CB. So if CB are the same as Late
Split bearings does someone know the bearing numbers for late splitties?
Bay Window Kombi (Disc)
Inner LM67048 / 10 31.75mm (1 1/4") 59.131mm
Outer LM11949 / 10 19.05mm (3/4") 45.237mm

I'm sure mine were LP Beetle bearings... it's all together now so I can't look. The inner seals... mine are from a Honda...
