Hey everyone, what has to be done to fit audi A4 mags onto a baywindow kombi. I was told that something has to be clearenced on the mags? Is this
right?
Thanks,
Alex.
mmm, well depends what kind of rims. Need to check the offset, assuming you have the right stud pattern. I believe, that rims, say off an A4, won't
fit a Kombi, as the need the bolt pattern re-drilling to some extent.
I was looking at some a few months ago, was advised against it as it might not be as simple as one would hope. Get the size of the rims and the
offset, then see a tyre shop. You might also need bolts.
I might be talking crap, but that was the info I got, I was after some A4 rims for my Bay.
Not sure about the A4 rims but the 80 and such fit fine, all you ahve to do for a bay is cut a slot on the back to clear a fixing nut ont he rear
drums and have the centers machined out so they go over the centers ok.... the gold rims on my blue bay are off an audi 80, right offset etc....
steff...............
im gettin a set next week hopefully, at the machinest's at the moment getting the centre's done to clear the bearing cap
Those are a nice looking wheel. I'm interested to know the width and offset, as they may make a suitable upgrade from my current BA Falcon steelies...
um to tell the truth i don't actually know, but i hope they fit well ,otherwise ...well lets not go there. All i know is there 15x7's
don't know the ofset that is!
