kadrons and 009
kombibob - July 24th, 2005 at 09:24 PM

hi all
i have a pair of kadrons that i am about to fit to my 1641
after doing a bit of research it seams that a stock vac advance dissy is much better than a 009 for kads
anyone out there running kads with 009 and what are your thoughts
thanks

hey bob, from what ive read and heard the 009 dissy's are good for racing (high revs) and thats about it. i hear plenty of people saying they get heaps better performance with stock dissy, compared to 009's.

I have a 1916 with 009 and Kads.

They work fine with no flat spots, but I've wondered what difference a SVDA dizzy would make.

EFI is the ultimate though, so I won't be playing around with different set-ups. Saving up for EFI!

Again.... sorry, another really old thread, But has anyone got any feedback on this combo?? I will be running a 1600 with 009 (+ compy fire) and kads... Would love to hear what your results are, etc. And best way of tuning and setup, stuff like that. If anyone had a bad experiance with the 009.... say so (I'm well aware that there are people that have!) - has anyone run an 050 with Kads? or a Magna disi?
