LPG in a Bay window
Michael Evans - April 3rd, 2008 at 09:33 AM

Anyone in Sydney had their Kombi converted to LPG. Know it can be done and am aware of a place in Brisbane which has done the conversion.

Looking for a recommendation of a fitter in Sydney up to the job.

Cheers

Now he is verting his dad's beetle a few hundred dollars and its smoother than petrol.

Thanks for the info guys.

Dub74L have seen Kyra's thread on AVD. and have spoken to fitter that did the conversion. Apparently it's not that straight forward especially if you have twin carbs which I do. The fitter that did Kyra's job is based in Brisbane.

Really looking for a Sydney fitter who is not only experienced in lpg conversions but is also knows his way around an air cooled engine.

Don't like my chances but you never know someone might turn up.
