Do Beetle shocks fit a 1970s Kombi?

Are Kombi shocks the same front and rear? And will Beetle shocks fit?

No the rears are much longer than the front.
Any shock will fit, you just have to make it.
Rear Beetle will fit kombi front.

mm dunno, I have some in the shed so I will give you an eye measuremnet and a Monroe part number and you can just look it up :>

Once You have measurements or Monroe number
You can find them cheap on ebay usually...
