Wiring a Hazard Switch in a '68 Type 1
hulbyw - October 23rd, 2009 at 08:40 PM

My bug doesn't have a hazard switch as standard, however I do have a hazard switch off a later bug.
Any suggestions as to how I can wire it to give me working hazard lights?

Any suggestions? I am guessing I may have to use another flasher relay with the hazard switch. Does that sound right?

dunno if this helps however i used a small aftermarket pre wired hazzard setup in my 61 bus, just find a positive and hook it up to the lights, worked a treat...

I haven't wired a set up from scratch for many years...

The USA wiring is Very different from to OURS

I usuallu use the 1969 wiring diagram...

PS: I never did get My hazard lights working yrt..
