if its a 54 the nuber reads 1 - something
yours reads 156 8274 so as late 56 or early 57
my June 56 reads 1227636

It hasn't got the dash after the 1 which means it's after the 1millionth model which was in 55
By the way, the idiot guide..... great for getting the BBQ started with that's bout all though
