just thought I'd put a question out about performance parts, and this question may have been done to death already buts It's an open question and I'm really just interested in other peoples experiences with different sites and shops

Where's a good place to get parts from?

I'm not just taking about Australian sites and shops (please don't vilify me for this), but overseas websites also.

where are the best places for;

a) Performace Racing Parts
b) Street Performace Parts
c) Mild Performace Parts
and,
d) Tight Performance Parts


and what's the build quailty/prefered brand of the parts you have? Brands you swear by and Brands you'll never touch again.

CB Performance in the USA
CIP1 in Washington state... or from Canada,,??

+1 CIP1= Good prices, fast freight(4 to 5 days delivery) Have a % discount every now and then.

VWparts = Good prices, slow freight. Stocks most of CB Performance parts with cheaper freight.

Pacificcustoms = Prices ok, slow freight

CB Performance = Good pricing, costly freight.

Chirco = Prices ok, costly freight

I've dealt with most of these online shops and find CIP1 the better one(not always the cheapest).
I use VWPARTS if I need CB Performance parts IE: 044 heads,
Pacificcustoms for TriMil exhaust systems

And yes I buy from local shops for smaller items......
