bottom front shock mount

hey guys
any body had the problem that there is just not enough thread on the bottom shock stud to put a nut onto when the bracket for the selby sway is placed on i can get a nut but no washer, was thinking of extending it has any body done this or is there another way maybe locktite

The correct ISO standard is three threads past the nut, you should also use the washer provided, i recommend you go to the local bolt place and purchase a pair of the correct length grade 8.8 bolts.

Hi

I'm guessing its a ball joint torsion bar front end...??

and it fits onto a stud... not a bolt...

Problem...

You can't replace it...

leave the washer off and loctite it on...

Is there a way of narrowing the bottom bush for the shock? I'd look at that. I know the issue you are having too. Try asking the qu on the circuit racing forum. They are all running the same sort of stuff you are.

I remember grinding the bushing a few mms both sides with some shocks that had very wide bushes..

they are just only long enough those studs...

I can't see any way of lengthening them...??
