You can fit 1962-1967 tail lamp assemblies at the rear
cheap and easy to find...
front - You can fit the top of guard lamps OR
You can fit round motor cycle type lamps on Your bumpers front and rear many VW parts shops sell these cheap too

A quick search for 'Hot rod bullet indicators' will give you heaps of ideas and places you can buy sets from.

Please for the love of god don't change the tail lights, consider buying a later model beetle before doing that!
My 1960 deluxe had the small snowflake tail lights, no way I would have changed them for the world, love the smaller tail lights. Hop on eBay and
search Harley bullet indicators, they are what you need to get. Whip up a couple of brackets, mount them to inside your bumper, and wire away. More
classic and classy!
