Anyone had any experience with this mob?
They seem to have a pretty good rep in the us scene for quality heads abd turnkey motors vut was wondering if anyone in the oz scene knows anything? Cheers guys

Do a search on here: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/index.php

Seems to me like the only good feedback is from customers within the USA, outside of there it's mostly bad.

I don't have any personal experience though!

I have and he's very good.
Always sent what's ordered and knows his stuff.

Read through this thread... http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=66140&page=20

He waited, and waited, and waited then claimed $'s back through credit card... good luck

I've bought parts from DRD. My experience was good.

An engine would be a different kettle of fish.....you're a long, long way away if you have any sort of warranty/guarantee issue.

Buy one of the kits and have it assembled here by someone who knows what they are doing .

DRD did sloppy work on some heads, incorrect valve to guide clearance, (too tight) took months to get my extra parts back.
never again. Art at ACE, Bergs and John. C at aircooled.net are far more reliable and answer emails. (but cost more) you choose!
