what should oil pressure be at idle when warm and at cruising speed in a t1 motor
anybody have any ideas
The bare minimum is 10psi per 1000rpm at operating temp.
most engines that aren;t on their last legs seem to hover around 30-40psi cruisng at 3000rpm.
Oil choice has a huge effect though, Ive seen nearly 10psi differences in the same engine with same grade oil just switching brands.
thats cool im just under 20psi at idle and 40psi at around 3000rpm cheers joel
