hi guys here goes i am about to start three vw projects not at the same time put my question is i have a 1976 beetle it is need of rust repair and paint job but my question is this it has 1600 motor with the prefix of ad as engine number does this mean its a twin port motor yes in a crash course vw but i think that is about to start
Bud do you know what an inlet manifold is? It runs from the carby to each side of the motor twin port is easy to tell because it has two tubes that run into the top/side of the engine. Single port is just one tube that doesn't change diamater. Hope that helps.
hi no it runs just one but was wondering if i can change to twin carbys just read on the web the engine prefix was twin port but only has one carby
