I bought a Vintage speed black mamba shifter and since i bought it i was concerned with the life of the pivot bushes, these are just two thin nylon rings that are molded to fit on the ball, they are open the ingress of dirt and dust which over a period of time will wear the ball and shifter, i had a CV joint boot that i measured up and found that when i cut it down it would fit tightly around the base and the shaft of the shifter.
