Does anyone know the legalities of having to run one as the car is a 68 with Subi engine.

I am going through all this now with my conversion, all pollution gear that came stock on the new motor must be fitted if fitted to a older vehicle. According to my engineer, in NSW too if that makes any difference

Why would you not just fit one? After market ones are cheap and they serve a good purpose.
