kombi Gearbox into bug 60's model

how hard is it to put a kombi box into a bug? any links of info on how to ? do you have any pics.have you done it?

you need to irs the rear a bit of fab work as you need to fit a front nose mount run bus cvs at the box and beetle at the axel .one of the off road guys should be able to help .

O I could not find any spare injection for your bus , but have the guys on the look out . If max fits the toyota v8 to the p76 there is a new injected 4.4 ltr in the shed that will not get used . If you need stock heads ect there is a few to found .

it been done check the hot vw and dune buggies site cause im fairly sure i saw it in there a few months ago. there was a fair bit of subframe modification and thats one i wouldnt want to be doing the engineers for it. the sites address is http://www.hotvws.com

the shock towers on the 60's pans foul on the trailing arms right at the point where the brake lines come along the top seam. To get round the issue you will have to modify the trailing arms or the shock towers to suit.
