As you guys know I’m changing my motor to a V8 5L Holden type. It has begun this is as it sits today with the 4.4L Leyland and by the end of next
week there should be a new heart pumping my beast along.
PS I'm liking the look of no bumper on the rear aswell

sure steve ring me when you want, you still have my number don't you?
wacked1 may i sugest an exhaust system as this is what my cousin had in his 76 camper ,you use ealy commodore extractors inthe standard position then a u bend and a muffler on each side and straight out the back and sounded great
Hey man i think what you are doing is great! V8 in the back of a kombi unreal!!
However wouldnt you be better off with sticking with the Leyland instead of the big lump of iron Holden??
The 4.4L leyland is all alloy isnt it?
I wouldve thought that the weight of the porky holden engine would greatly affect the stability and safety of your kombi....
dont take any of this the wrong way these are just some questions that i have for all i know you couldve researched it a great deal and found that the
holden motor will be great!
i dont like holdens so im biased
keep up the good work mate.
hay ron i have a stainless steel firewall if ur interested it might look pritty good, it ha a polished center were the fuel lines come through, while u have the engine out? u wll have to bring it around when it is done and see my one as well.
just pulled the motor out
it's gone
where we upto dude?
cheers

Of late I’ve been toying with the idea of stroking the 308 to 355 cubic inches it’s not a big job and not that expensive. A guy owes me a bit of
money and he’s agreed to get me the stuff I need so I haven’t done much to the motor lately here is a pic of the motor with the injection on
Wacked1
get a toyota V8 you would never look back , $1000.00 for 226kw stock as a rock .
