Hi

Mine still has a bracket at one end, but nothing at the other, I guess I will need to fab something.

What do you do with sumps?

Steve

Nice one steve. The STI looks like it has a factory oil cooler between the filter and the block?

MikeM - September 21st, 2004 at 08:09 AM

What's the part number for the belt if you don't use power steering but do use the AC?

seagull - September 21st, 2004 at 08:21 PM

sorry dont know that one

speedster356 - September 21st, 2004 at 08:36 PM

AC belt is seperate to the Alt belt. So it should be stock size. Power steer is off the Alt belt.

Hi Peter

Im wondering how well it will work, if they work OK it will save running one up the front of the car.

Im planning to use the AC, with 206 kW I guess I can spare a few.

Hi

My motor came with a loom and computer. I shopped pretty hard for this motor. I could have bought a 94 or 95 WRX motor for $2500 with higher Ks, by the time I would have rebulit it and changed turbos, injectors etc I would have gone over $5,500. Late model WRX with low ks are going for $7,000.

I bought that belt today, fits perfect, very expensive for a fan belt, $19.50.

Steve

seagull - September 23rd, 2004 at 11:47 PM

I paid $34.80 but it came from * syd * shit !

Can I ask who you purchased this from steve * motor *

1303Steve - September 24th, 2004 at 03:59 PM

Hi

Do you mean the fan belt, local parts shop called Bulk Auto parts @ Peakhurst, the motor from GMS in Revesby.

Steve
