subaru >getting rid of some weight
seagull - January 23rd, 2005 at 01:03 AM

I been looking at my subaru alternator braket its made of cast steel >I see the WRX has a pressed steel braket 1/4 the weight , so I replaced the cast with the lighter one .

Now to get an ally crank pully ( from where ) !!

Some Subaru Legacy engines come with an alloy alternator braket. My EJ20T got one, but I have seen EJ22 engines with alloy brakets.

go all out with titanium exhaust, c/f inlet manifold, rocker covers and 6061T6 pulleys.the best exhaust I,ve seen was a 3.5" titanium on a nissan gtr.

I am sure you can buy power pully's for the ej20t.... I have seen them in Fast 4's. I will have a look and let you know!
