Thinking about Joining The Rotary Club...
WABaja - January 25th, 2005 at 06:03 PM
I am considering the purchase of a 13B Mazda Rotary to go into a Fenderless Volksrod project that I'm working on...
The motor came out of a beetle so it's just a case of putting it back into one, as adapters and parts are pretty much all there..
Has anyone here had any experience with these motors and are there any tips, pointers or warnings that I need to be aware of..???
I hear a Ceramic clutch wouldn't go astray..
Any feed back is appreciated..
Thanks.

I don't know why you would want to do an engine swap on you car anyway, but if you going to spend the money to do it why put an old sh it thing like
that in........at least put in something new:duh

Check out Zenoes site, the link is at the top of this forum or u2u Quickcamper. Rotaries arent for everyone but both these guys have made top cars
using them.

Moose it's not for THIS,
It's for THIS...
Why, coz I've always liked Rotary's and the noise a good one makes and this is a road Only car so it doesn't need the same power and torque factors
that I require from my Baja...
Oh, and Because I can...

I have not bought it yet, but I have been advised of one that is for sale although it is still only a 4 seater conversion and I want the longer 2
seater one that comes almost up to the back of the front seats...
