ITS ALIVE!!!

such a glorious day. spent months trying to get my new engine up and running. was able to get it to kick for a couple of seconds at a time around Jan of this year, then replaced the starter with one from an auto, fixed a broken pipe and.... Nothing! no noise from starter or anything. finally found that a plug up the front had fallen apart, put it together, turned the key... within 5 seconds we had life! the hose had solved the stopping problem and the plug had fixed the starter, as there was no exhaust (beside headers)the engine wouldnt exactly idle, but it revved raucously and smoothly, sounding absolutely beautiful. so now i have an engine, brakes, lights, all i need is indicators and an alignment and she will be driveable. WOOHOO :party :party :party

nice analogy akean. Im sure if you saw some of the wiring and such you would realise that it is a very apt analogy indeed. (anyone who works on the car figures it's possesed :D )
