Good nose, lol.

Man, that engine is huge compared to the common vee dub engines. Well looks like it.

Is that ur conversion? If so, nice stuff mate :)

Looks like that buggy is gonna really fly.

Hi Brad,

How long till its on the road? Interested in any performance specs you can gather ... economy, 0-100, 0-100 with a load - no I'm not really interested in drag racing one, its just an easy measure of power :)

When you have some pics of the radiator solution I would love to see em.

My boat is looking more an more like a subbie engine every time I walk past it :thumb

cheers

Jon J

I have a Kombi with an EJ22 fitted. The Manx had a fresh 1916 Pobjoy injected engine in it.The Kombi went better and used less fuel...and was a lot cheaper, hence the Manx will now have an EJ22.......:kiss

Would be keen to see how this goes. Might consider the swap in my baja.

pete wood - June 12th, 2005 at 09:40 PM

Brad, what are you using to support the engine from underneath it?
Or are you just holding it using the bellhousing like subaru boxer is?

manx - June 12th, 2005 at 11:52 PM

Completely off topic but here ya go

Thats sounds cool Mick ... hopefully Brad can give something a bit more concrete. I know its going to be better, 40hp to over 100hp is the giveaway :thumb:thumb:thumb

Just interested in how much better

MickH - June 13th, 2005 at 10:50 AM

The Pobjoy was dynod at 102HP at the wheels.Like i said the Kombi went better with the EJ than the buggy with the Pobjoy!!!

The buggy will have a date with the dyno when i get it back.I will post dyno sheet with the EJ22 motor when i get it done.

Brad - June 13th, 2005 at 04:39 PM

the engine will have a rear cross member on the custom rear cage connected to the custom roll cage connected to the custom floor pan ready to be given hell by the made driver ...:beer
