Hi all. I was hoping someone with Subaru knowledge could tell me which model subarus came in 2 wheel drive transmision and there horsepower rating. I am hoping to mate it to 2ltr quad cam. thanks.

Why the 2 wheel drive requirement for the engine?

Ive found that the 2wd box is shorter than the AWD box and could be used for what i have in mind. what i cant seem to find are specs on these boxes I guess there 4 speed or 3 speed auto. all the newer boxes are way to long.5 and 6 speed.
since i posted I think Ive found what Im after. Rang a big subaru place only to find that they scrapped all there 2wd boxes they had laying around. I my inquiry was one day late.

Thats cleared up any doubts about hp considerations.
Is the box in the photo a 4th overdrive or a 5 speed?
