here's the story:
we adjusted the clutch cable a few days ago for the first testrun and everything was fine.
Yesterday after having driven a total of about 60 kilometers the 2cm "give" on the clutch pedal (when you press it but it doesn't pull the clutch
yet) was gone and the engine didn't seem to want to rev up when in gear.
adjusted the clutch and still the same problem.
could it be the clutch is worn out already (higly doubt it since it is a copper Kennedy clutch that came with my adaptor kit for the EJ20TT)
I'll try fidling with the clutch again but I'm a bit out of ideas at the moment.
The clutch cable could have stetched.....problem with big pressure plates. See if you can manually engage it at the box. Are you not able to put it in
gear at all????? will it not revv up in neutral either. I had a problem when I first fitted my new clutch, and it ended being the flywheel and the
clamp height of the new plate. Pulled the motor 4 times in a week to work it out. The plate may also have worked its way loose and not engaging. (not
likely)
If in doubt, get out the stands and jack and bite the bullit and pull the motor! Better to be safe than sorry!
Good luck dude, I know how you feel!

the engine will rev up fine when not on gear and yes, I am able to shift it in gear without problems.
when I first drove it last week, the clutch cable was still in the same position as it was on the VW engine and the pedal was very very hard to press
down but the bug almost did a wheelie when gently pressed the throttle pedal (and that was without the 2 turbo so it only makes 205hp)
Edited - just to keep this post on topic.
Sorry 72RSbug, Sounds like the clutch has bedded in and the clamp height is wrong/thrus bearing/flywheel made need maching and no matter how you
adjust it it canot clamp down far enough to engage properly. Have another look as there are only a couple of things it could be.

back on topic: ordered a new clutch (not a copper one without springs anymore), should have it on tuesday.
