as much as I wouldn't do it, it's gotta be better than the meatheads who put small block chevs in the back of them. you'd have to lose some of the resale, but I guess that's not the point.

mmm, have to agree with the comment about the carbies...he could have left it factory injected or gone aftermarket ECU for a touch more money and had an engine that was so much smoother.:o

Besides the use of carbies, I like the idea! It looks like a decent job (minimal panel hacking etc), as long as it could be put back to original why not? Enjoy the handling of the porsche without the ridiculous cost of engine rebuilds. Same reason everyone puts subis into VW's.

It was going so well until I saw the radiator & associatted scoop. As long as he loves driving it , thats all that matters.
