hi do you have any info on your pug 205 1.9 engine conversion ie where your rad? wot adapter kit did you use? wot clutch did you use? gearbox? and have you any pics of your swap.

no I was being a smart arse....looked at it, had previous experience with Pugs in a former life, - down here the motors are rare and expensive, they should fit in the engine bay, from my measuring. The rad/plumbing as per http://www.customoffroad.com.au  - in the chassis rails. In fact the conversion would be very similar, just get Pug bits not Sube - they seem to be dirt cheap in the UK. Not sure what you're looking at, I was looking at IRS bus with single side place Lbug box. You can get the adaptor plate made up easy enough....it's the Pugs kick arse torgue curve I wanted, not the out and out 'at the wheels'. Still a good idea....AU just lacks parts.

Also thought the Renault 19 16v motor would do a similar job.
