I was looking at the posts , trying to see what power out put you guys are getting with the ej20T motor .I see mats has a differant turbo , so just what is a stock ej20T getting down at the wheels please .

has there been any gains on after market ecu ?

& the water cooled coolers are these any good to keep ?

have you fitted the cruse control units from the front cut ?

cheers seagull

stock ecu running 16psi = 191 hp @ the wheels auto turbo (tdo4)
aftermarket ecu still rich (10.4 : 1) running 16psi = 238 HP @ the wheels stock manual turbo (tdo5)

Mine , 94 ej20T,
All standard bar pod filter, Microtech LT8s, standard TD05 running 8 ponds boost max, small 2.5 inch exhaust with no splitter yet for wastegate.
Pretty flat tourqe curve as well.

Paul's should make more then mine, his 3 inch exhaust with wastegate splitter is a work of art.

Matts should make more as well, 3 inch exhaust, ball bearing turbo & boost control. It's already a scremaer!

Jak

I will let you know next week hopefully.
I have a relatively small turbo in the vf24, which was used in grougp n wrx rally cars. makes full boost on a dyno at 2800. If you hit it hard from the start, it doesnt feel as if its got a turbo, just lots of balls. I had a sort of run with a GTi golf yesteray on the long hill going into Dural. I couldnt quite catch him due to a slight sideways drift..spinning 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. It only stopped when I backed off to let him in at the top.

I'm hoping for similar to Peter, at about 250 atw with similar boost.
