Yes Andrew ...well done! WE came to your place early last year and had a look and listen. Awesome vehicle. It will be good to have another Buggy in the CQ area to come driving with us. Usually Matthew (my son ea81 Supasports) leads but I don't think that will be the case from now on!!

11CAB - January 10th, 2006 at 08:26 PM

And a J&S at that........:P

bajachris88 - January 10th, 2006 at 08:30 PM

ay, but having an EJ20 motor conversion, you could shorten a pan today and get it registed with no touble as an ICV. hmm, there is a chance of me having a juicy-engined swb buggy.

How was it to get complianced and all (the engine conversion that is). Easy? Difficult?

:P

Got me thinking now.

11CAB - January 10th, 2006 at 08:32 PM

Hey Chris.....SWB Baja's look F*cken ugly......:P

bajachris88 - January 10th, 2006 at 08:37 PM

 Lol, smart ass. Of course they do, buggy buggy buggy! :dork:

hotdog008 - January 28th, 2006 at 03:54 PM

here are some photo`s of reg`d buggy
rwc man never looked twice at it (i thought he might be worried about power to weight or previous rego forms which i didn`t have)
he just done his mod plate for engine conversion and disc brakes
he accepted the 8 year old mod plate on the car for chassie shortening as proof of previous rego
main roads were happy with his rwc mod forms and gave me my no. plates abd rego sticker without even looking at it

OZ Towdster - January 28th, 2006 at 06:09 PM

Andrew have you still got your Radiator under the rear parcel area and how well does it cool now that yo are able to road test it etc

PS everybody else i'mm NOT going subi power just wondering how it cools with Andrews Radiator area design.

seagull - January 29th, 2006 at 01:14 AM

good to see you have this with lic after all the work .

power to weight would be out of control

just like my ej20 powered machine , we can have a race !

hotdog008 - January 29th, 2006 at 08:37 AM

so far no overheating problems
i live 25k`s out of town so do a lot of highway type driving
most times when i pull up the fans are not even running
i do hear them cut in for a couple of minutes now and then and this was in 40 degree heat over xmass
i`m getting to much heat coming back into the cab when the fans are not sucking
i will block this off (i have it open under my rear parcel shelf so my 6 inch ducts from the side vents face the radiator)
but ,,, i haven`t tested it being driven hard on the beach yet... so we`ll see
seagull very nice work

hellbugged - January 29th, 2006 at 08:50 AM

that is so cool! nice stance and love the screen in the front hoop.

good work, enjoy.

Brad - January 29th, 2006 at 09:23 AM

that is a cool buggy man, you have done an awesome job.

shiftyvw - January 29th, 2006 at 11:03 AM

Just wondering where you got those seats from?

wibble - January 29th, 2006 at 07:39 PM

VERY sweet buggy! congrats on getting it through

seagull - January 29th, 2006 at 08:18 PM

The seats a beard ? Beerd ? some thing along that line .I have the jig for these some place ? I go an have a look .We have the same in the class one race car .

They cost big $ as the oem ones are made in USA

hotdog008 - January 29th, 2006 at 08:50 PM

they are a beard super seat
some guy on the off road racing forum was selling a new one cheap because he got seat sponsorship from someone else
i then found out the price of the second seat (aprox 800)
so i pulled the original apart made a frame and had a trimmer mate of mine upholster it
i also narrowed both by 25mm so they fitted on the floor between tunnel and body
see why it took me so long to finish......

seagull - January 30th, 2006 at 12:40 AM

thats what I did !
