ECU pin/wire removal

Anyone have any good tips on how to remove a wire/pin from the main ecu connector to another hole in the connector. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the pins have a tang that comes out at an angle and hooks onto part of the plastic connector housing. Depending on the type, you either have to depress that tang or the plastic part of the housing from the front or rear of the connector whilst pulling on the pin/wire. I normally use a jewelers screwdriver to do this but have found a steel wire sometimes works as well.

Thanks guys, but I tried to remove thr wire and relocat it. But I just destroyed an old connector, salvaged a wire and inserted it into the ECM connector.
