I know it's off topic but if you haven't heard about this book then maybe you need to know about it.
The V12 Engine by Karl Ludvigsen, Haynes Publishing, California, 2005.
I bought it for myself for Christmas. It is fabulous. I read it like a novel. I couldn't put it down. Nearly every page has a picture, a drawing or a
cutaway drawing of a V12 engine, or a fabulous and famous car on it It's one of the best coffee table books about engines that I have ever seen.
I highly recommend it to you.
I've seen that one in the Pitstop catalogues that I get in the mail..... just couldnt justify $150 for it just yet......
Another brilliant book (even has some VW content) is Rally Cars by Reinhard Klein, the best book on rally cars ever - has details on just about any
car ever rallied up to about 2000.
My eyes are glued to Baja Bugs and Buggies by Jeff Hibbard at the moment.
