the auto trans in my T3 crapped out today, and I know that it's gonna be expensive to repair/replace.
Anyone have any ideas as an alternative to the std. VW auto trans to go into a T3 with a Subi engine?

The old vw bus auto is very good and would out last the T3 unit .

there is not a lot of cars you can go with .I would get a older auto run the power steering pump off the motor to a cooler & return it to the auto keeping the temp down all the way .

I'm already running a trans cooler on the current trans.
will the t2 auto bolt straight in or are there some modifications required?
I've been thinking about a Porsche auto, but I'm guessing it's gonna be out of my budget.

it will not * bolt up * every thing in this page needs to be made .
