Bolting flywheel to EJ20T
71EJVan - June 1st, 2006 at 08:18 AM

Got my Kennedy Stage II clutch yesterday.

Other than a small amount of locktite should the 8 bolts used to bolt the flywheel on have washers?

I have the Volksconversion kit and it did not come with washers. I'm thinking high tensile thin flat washers should be used.

Stock EJ has no washers. But the bolt has a slight built in flange on the head of it.

Thanks Peter, I'll check my bolts out tonight for suitability.

ill find out 4 ya dude,

i gota take all my clutch and flywheel off to get it back to the block, gettin it bored next week,

will post when i find out eh,

im guessing that the torque settings for clutch and flywheel components between manufacturers would be roughly the same tho... mine isnt a jap engine eh, but it should be something to go off
