The loom in your hand is a 3 pug unit , so the motor loom must be a 3 plug as well .Have you removed the air con form this motor ? is the motor & loom from the same car / cut ?

did it have ABS ??? EBT ??

It looks like the earthing ( kit ) wires to me

Yeah you may be right...trying to figure the wiring diagram....this is what you get when you leave a project for a couple of months(and travel to central australia)

If you pulled it out then it should plug in no issues at all.

The plug you have empty usually goes into the engine loom along with the other two.

In short there should be another plug floating around which has not yet been joined.

Hi All, I still can't figure this connection...does anybody within a couple of hours drive of the gold coast have a similar engine i can have a look at? I must have lost a connector somehow. :grind:

Funnily enough I do ....

If you want to drop up to the Shop in Stafford I have a 3 Plug EJ 22 in a Brumby and also have at least 1 sitting on the shelf. If you bring your ECU I can show you what goes where.
