This is a shot of my magnet gearbox sump plug after i had done around 5000km's on the new engine, it made me laugh when i saw it!!

it still works great tho, is starting to whine a little more at 110 than it did with the old slow 1800 tho

i'd hate to be my gearbox, or any vw gearbox attatched to ant v8 or EJ turbo for that matter hahaha

Soon to go bang !

I hope you changed that oil and put in lots of Nulon gearbox treatment. It's gonna need everything it can to survive. :o

It aint broken till it no longer provides drive to the wheels...... in any gear

Just keep the oil up to it, if the whine gets too loud, put some heavier oil in.....

na the gearbox loves it. if it blows up ill just bolt a new strong one in.

ill just drop mine off to vw shop n get em to build a strong one
