looking at it from the front of the motor (ie, alternator belt and various pumps), the temp sender is directly behind the power steering pump on the left hand side on top of the motor. you may need to take off the powersteering pump to get to it...if you haven't already. if you follow the top radiator pipe back, you will see it on the top.
