Hey Guys

Just wondering if you could post pics of your throttle cable installs, my old motor had a cable coming from the passenger side to the firewall then to a little pulley on the left side that routed to the right side of the motor directly in front of the throttle butterfly. see pics at: http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y134/davidbosa/?action=view¤t=9375.jpg  (its the black tube, the orange thing is the pulley)

my question is now its turbo I haventt got that much room, can I simply run the cable straight into the throttle butterfly? as long as its secured I cant seem to find any issue, just need your thoughts

Yeah i got it going straight up to the butterfly, The throttle cable is actually a boot realease cable off a KE TX3, the round pin section fits the subaru butterfly perfectly, and the cable is slightly thicker but more flexible than the VW one, works a treat.

I went to a bicycle shop to get a cable for my Manx Buggy. You can buy the outer sheeth by the metre and it is teflon lined. And I got a 3m brake cable to run inside it. You can wrap it in a loop and it still works smoothly and only cost me $12 all up. :thumb
