I really really need a shortened sump, I have only done 400kms since the conversion and have nearly ate away the stock sump. can anyone help me out.

VV performance centre offered me the drawings of there's but I never picked them up, if you guys have them please post them or PM me

Likely your oli filter will then be lower than the sump unless you can get a stump version or run a remote.

now does anyone think that JVL's sump will fit with the standard Subaru Turbo manifold with standard heat sheilds on?

Can i have the dimmensions JVL? that will give me the answer.

Bugs@5speed posts on here sometimes, do a search and you might find contact details on here. If you have room have you thought of lifting the motor up an inch or so?

Steve, thats a waste of time! That would cause more undistrubuted weight....not a good idea.

I don't think it would matter, he's not racing for sheep stations. What would be waste is if he stuffs a motor buy having a short sump or by grounding his stock sump and loosing his oil

Well from what I can gather the Bug@5speed sumps seem like a good option though pricey I guess, but right now im on pounds so that isnt the biggest issue also in the right place to sort it.

yeah ill double check with the bloke, but I think it is like 340 Euro incl 17% VAT, though I will get the VAT off... I know they are pricey but they look like a good option.

I am going to get him to send it home for me.

Just for interests sake, can anyone provide me with any links to Subie engines with dry sumps?
