Just thought that i would put a little message in here to let everyone know that Philbert took its first breath today with the EJ22!!! I dont have the rad in and there is still a fair bit to go but after all this time playing with it its a good milestone.
Got some body parts on the way from the bus stop and things are moving forward again.
I'll try and get the video footage on here of it running

Yeah a huge thanks to Adam couldnt have done the troubleshooting to get it started without him.
I think that he is pretty keen but from what i hear he's got a fair bit on the go as it is!!!

Don't run it too long without water, the waterpump seal won't like it very much.

yeah its great when they fire up for the first time even better going for a sunday drive in the mountains...without leaning forward

thanks for that wes, if i run it again i will have the hose jamed in the top inlet. but i think that i will just have to get the rad done this week.

Not sure about driving leaning forward cause i have never driven this kombi!! only ever driven one other. so still pretty new to this all
