Does anyone know what the go is with the water pump on the intercooler on an EJ20 turbo , should it activate when it gets to a certain temp or run from the start ????

From memory high and low speed. Low speed continual and higher speed under boost. Or it could be just boost activated, cant remember :crazy:

Mine runs on ignition and no probs yet.

yeah it runs constantly to keep cool water in the intercooler all the time; it speeds up in high load conditions - but I can't remember whether it is boost or TPS etc referenced
