87 T3 Trakka needs engine conversion

hi there,
after some help converting my T3 Trakka to a V6 or Sabarru engine.
The 2.1 water cooled is to slow and on th way out. Any help with conversion information would be great. Thanks in advance

subaru is cheaper, you need a gearbox upgrade to cope with the holden V6, that said, the V6 is a fantastic motor.

re CustomVeeDub, I'm not sure if that's still the case. Brad was doing while he owned it, not sure what Andrew (Oztowdster) is up to. Look on their
site I guess.

mm it was Actually Dave and Pete who did them, I am way to lazy and dumb to do something that complicated on my own. If I tried to tig alloy header
tanks it would just turn to poo.
So yes Custom Vee Dub still do them drive in / drive out, or as a kit, or just parts to make life easy.
Talking to them the other day they are working on a few new bits which will make it even easier.... and quicker.
Hope to get my Bug in there soon so they can finish it off now I have hacked it up and made a mess of it all, damn DIY ideas would have been cheaper
to pey em to do it upfront.
They also have an EG33 which is a Subaru 6 in a bay kombi but from what Andrew told me there are a few getting around in T3's. Seems like a nice
option.
My Dad's T3 has an EJ22 in it done by Custom Vee Dub, nice engine, makes it great to drive, biggest issue is that you can't tell when it is running
as it is so quite.
I am driving it around at the moment as the Geko is on Holidays and the T3 with Ej 22 is averaging 10.1L per 100km, not bad for a Brick on wheels
around town.
