Hi all,
I guess some of the answers may be biased, but wondering what a 12a n/a drives like in a full bodied (not baja) beetle.
Does the standard gearbox ratios suit a rotary and what would the engine be spinning at sitting on 100kmph.
Would anyone be able to give me a rough guide as to what a standard 12a would push the beetle down the quarter mile in. I know there will be
variances, but just roughly.
Also I know it has been argued on here about using a rotary in a vw and some people are not into rotors, but due to the small price to get the car
going better I think it would have to be ones first option to consider.
I would love to put in a 13B turbo, but this is apparently out of the question for NSW. I had a series 4 RX7 Turbo years ago and can only think how much quicker it would be in a lighter car
Is it still hard to get an adapter plate and other necessities for this conversion.
Thanks in advance, Kevin
